She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Dwight Buckner; her parents, Marie Cumbee Moore and Earnest Everett Moore; and her brother William E. Moore. She is survived by: her brother Hubert C. Moore (June); her sister-in-law Ann; her daughter Jan Marie (Mike); and her grandson Hunter (Holly). She is also survived by her count, two nieces and two nephews, nine great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Vestavia Baptist Church.
