Lovin Payne Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2025, at the age of 85, Lovin Payne of Pelham, Alabama, born in Alto, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his mother Montine Chambers; and his sister Marie Crane. He is survived by: his son Dr. Chad Payne (Kim); his grandchildren, Damian Cavin and Lydia Payne; his siblings, Keith Chambers, Pat Chambers, Ricky Chambers, Kenneth Chambers and Gwen Chambers; and his close friend Virginia Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) (3715 AL-25, Montevallo, AL 35115). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Christian Life Fellowship, Calera, Alabama.
