She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Harmon and Ethel Harmon (Sparks); her husband Albert Brabec; her former husband Edgar Hering; her son Donald Darwin Hering; and her grandson Nicholas Doulas.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Russell (Rodney) and Daniel Hering; her grandchildren, Neely Clayton (Mark) and Rhonda Roy (Darryl); her great grandchild Noah Clayton; and her grandchildren, Micah Clayton, Brynnley Roy and Cameron Roy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Lutheran Church of Vestavia Hills- Project Hope or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
