She was predeceased by: her parents, Seiji Matsuda and Fijiko Matsuda; her husband Justin R. Spisto; and her granddaughter Kristin Marie Hulsey. She is survived by: her children, Richard Spisto (Katie), Debbie Hulsey (Denson), Michael Spisto (Christi) and Akemi Kina; her stepson Chuckie Boggs; her close friend Johnny Shaw; her grandchildren, Rachel Eichenblatt (Matthew), Bobby Hulsey (Meredith), Ceanna, Lucy Spisto, Stephen Spisto, Justin Spisto and Izumi Kina; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Ella Anne, Abigail Hulsey, Marin and Misora; and her siblings, Miyoko Yamashiro, Masaru Matsuda, Yoshie Nance and Tsutomu Matsuda.
