With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl Jerome LaGrone (Pelham, Alabama), who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Karl and Catherine Abbott LaGrone. He is survived by: his wife Holley Sheppard LaGrone; his children, Heather LaGrone Sheffield and Heath LaGrone (Alice); his brother-in-law Kevin Sheppard (Carmen); his grandchildren, Jeremy Sheffield, Jessica Sheffield, Sarah LaGrone, Jenna Sheffield and Luke LaGrone; his nephews, Cameron Sheppard (Kaitlin) and Collin Sheppard; his niece Courtney Sheppard; and his great-nephew Clark Sheppard.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alabama Kidney Foundation (http://www.alkidney.org).
