She was predeceased by: her parents, Travis William and Ella Maude Sandlin; and her nephew Jonathan Brett Elmore. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Brasher; her daughters, Sandy Brasher (Lisa) and Chanda Thomas; her grandchildren, Reed Thomas (Caroline), Ella Thomas, Garrett Brasher, Segen Lister, Noah Lister and Hansen Lister; and her sisters, Bobbie Rogers and Linda Elmore.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made in Julia's honor to the Alabama School for the Deaf. Donations can be sent to the AIDB Foundation, P.O. Box 698, Talladega, Alabama 35161.
