We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2024, at the age of 67, John Hawkins of Pelham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James R. Hawkins and Juanita M. Hawkins; and his sister Susan Diane Hawkins. He is survived by : his siblings, Donald Wayne Hawkins (Kathie), Rebecca Usher and Paul D. Hawkins (Theresa).

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westwood Baptist Church (2349 Forestdale Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35214). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
