He was predeceased by: his wife Syble Pearson Salter. He is survived by: his children, Laural Myers (Don) of Wilsonville, Alabama, Alan Salter (Cassie) of Hoover and Mark Salter of Alpharetta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Bryan Myers (Jennifer), Sonya Lehner (Alex), Lauren Salter, Whitney May (Kevin), John David Salter (Jordan), Ansley Hampton (Scott), Caleb Salter (Courtney) and Joshua Salter (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Owen, Lydia, Luke, Emma Kate, Porter, Audrey, Hallie Grace, Brayden and Jack; and his brother James Salter (Lee Ann).
