Hurst and Sandra Jones Hurst; his brother David Alan Hurst (Angie); his nephews, David Alan Hurst, Jr. (DJ), Zachary Alexander Hurst (Zach), William Samuel Weiss (Will), Wyatt Gordon and Noah Gordon; and his niece Carley Johnson.
