He is survived by: his wife Beth McHan Horton; his children, Brandon A. Horton (Jeannie) of Indian Springs and Kimberley D. Powell (Lee) of Freeport, Florida; his grandchildren, Kayden, Kamryn, Jace Powell and Adam Edwards; and his siblings, Elton Horton (Faye) of Jemison, Alabama and Jimmie Ruth Headley (Lamar) of Springfield, Missouri..
