With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gorden Lee Mulkey of Pelham, Alabama, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Mulkey and Amanda Bell Passmore; his wife Mary Frances Pressley; his daughter Myra Frances Myrick; his son-in-law Jimmy Jack Myrick; and his siblings, Florence, Mary Lou, Jessie, Maude, Willy, George, Luther, Charlie, Herman, James and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his daughter Greta Lee Pickett (Charles Wright); his son-in-law Larry Pickett; his grandchildren, Anitra Pickett, Joey Pickett (Sarah), Rachel Owens (Chris), Chris Pickett (Darcy), Ruth Vander Maat (Kevin) and Rebekah Myrick; and his great grandchildren, Anna Pickett, Leia, Stein Pickett, Kayla, Alison Owens, Allegra, Aspen, Emily, Ezekiel, Ivan, Isabel, Naomi, Angie, David, Cassie and Jimmy Jack Vander Maat.
