It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Cain of Pelham, Alabama, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Cain and Jim Cain of Bessemer, Alabama.; his son Jeffrey G. Cain; and his siblings, James O. Cain and Marilyn C. Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda; his daughter Jerri C. Bull (Ed); his grandchildren, Benjamin Cain (Courtney), Matthew Cain (Alea), Aaron Cain, John Bull (Stacey) and Rebekah B. Crowley (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Mason Cain, Madison Cain, Austin Crowley, Emma Crowley, Azlynn Cain and Henry Bull.
Graveside service will be held at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama, Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
Family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to Sav-A-Life, Shelby County, in honor of Gerald.
