It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fakhry A. Assaad (Pelham, Alabama), who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Violette Fahmy; and his parents, Maryanna Gundal and Karl Gundal. He is survived by: his children, Maryanna Assaad Gundal and Fady Assaad; his granddaughters, Marina F. Gundal and Kristina V. Gundal; and his sisters, Elaine, Fayza and Mary.
