He is survived by: his wife Becky Waldrop Carmichael; his daughters, Cathy Marie Carmichael Downing (Nathan) and Shellie Ware (Kevin); his grandsons, Logan Hickman and Colin Downing; and his siblings, Pam Byrnes (Patrick), Patti Pena and Terry Carmichael (Kim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
