He is survived by: his children, Sandra Petty Walton (Mark) and Norman Scott Petty (Mary Hassell); his grandchildren, Kevin Walton, Nicholas Walton, Nathan Petty and Allison Petty; his brother W. David Petty (Carol); and his brother-in-law Larry Dagenhart.
