We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Claire Doran Thompson of Pelham, Alabama, born in Murray, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Doran and Anna Hood Doran; her husband James; her sister Jeanne Doran; and her son-in-law Chris Heusel.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Dunn, Janet Wilson (Sparky), Jim Thompson (Debbie), Patrick Thompson (Eleanor) and Katie Heusel; and her friends, Barbara Clark, Corky Long, Eunice Stagner, Loretta Barber, Toni Ciccone, Angie Giardina, Peggy Powell and Shirley Perry. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
