He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clemont Carlyle, Edna Thomas Lawrence, Dewey Cletis and Hilda Holloway Amberson; his parents, Charles Clemont Lawrence and Mattilene Amberson Lawrence; and his siblings-in-law, Caroline Nelson Keever and Frank Phillip Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca N. Lawrence; his children, Paul Monroe Lawrence (Kristal), Charles Phillip Lawrence (Michelle) and Sarah Lawrence Aldridge (Mark); his grandchildren, Peyton, Landen, Jesslyn, Mitchell, Skylar, Ann Louise, Amelia Rose, Dean, Adrey and Sadie; his brothers, David Amberson Lawrence (Babs) and James Michael Lawrence; and his siblings-in-law, William Henry Nelson (Sandy), Tom Keever and Patricia Nelson Hewlett (Bud). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
