He is survived by: his wife Genice Mardis Sloan; his sons, Mark Sloan (Julie) and Joel Sloan (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Jack, Eli Sloan, Amanda Brooks, Arianna Chandler and Amber Skinner; his brothers, Wayne Sloan (Shirley) and Jimmy Sloan (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Doss (Greg), Violet Ragland, Jerry Mardis (Linda) and Dwight Mardis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
