It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Holmes (Pelham, Alabama), who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Alan G. Holmes, Sr.; her mothers, Mary Lane Panos and Margaret Lantrip; and her sister Jean Johnson (Urban). She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Clark (Glenn) and Roy Lantrip (Barbara); and her children, Leslie H. Turner (Wesley), Graham Holmes (Sally) and Sandy H. Griffin (Craig). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Carol's church, Mountain Brook Community Church, 3001 US-280, Birmingham, AL, 35243.
