She was predeceased by: her husband James Chance; her son Wayne Chance; her grandson Brad Chance; and her parents, Mae Oliver and Buford Oliver.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Chance Jones (Gary) of Pelham, Ray Chance of Pelham, Steve Chance (Brenda) of Chelsea and Jerry Chance (Janie) of McCalla; her daughter-in-law Becky Chance of Pelham; her grandchildren, Josh Jones, Jeremy Chance (Jennifer), Gary Chance (Tori), Melissa Pitts (Joey) and Michael Chance (Danielle); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Aubree, Gabi, Parker and James; and her grandchild Halie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
