We bid farewell to Bernice Inez Walters (Pelham, Alabama), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 5, 2024 at the age of 97. Bernice Inez touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cuba Bailey and Lela Jones Bailey; her husband Woodrow Walters; her daughter Cheryl Walters; and her siblings, Willie, Lucille, Willard and Rubie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Darlyce Bundy, Rita Peters (David) and Cindy Petitt (David); her grandchildren, Jonathan Peters (Meredith), Michael Peters (Christina), Rachel Gibson (Garrett) and Katie Petitt; and her great grandchildren, Josiah Peters, Caleb Peters, Jude Peters, Violet Peters and Eloise Gibson.
