He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henry and Cleo Mitchell Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann; his children, Laurie Elizabeth, Jonathan Anthony (Caitlin) and Christopher Brian (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Jackson Reid, Emery Sky, Jonathan Luke, William Graham, Jonathan Anthony, Jr., Olivia Wainwright, William Christopher and David Henry; his brother George Henry Tanner, Jr. (Resa); his nephews, George Henry Tanner, III (Julie) and Samuel Landon Tanner; and his niece Melissa Bookwalter (Andy).
