He was predeceased by: his parents, Prima Sherer and Kirby Sherer. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Vanderslice; his daughter LeAnn Sherer; his sister Sara Cook; his nephew Alan Cook (Sheila); his nieces, Seconda Cook and Rhonda Witcher (Brian); his grandchildren, Steven Wilson and Amy Cook (Nathan); and his great grandchildren, Eliana, Caleb and Caden. He is also survived by loving great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Red Mountain Grace.
