He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Cates and Betty Cates; and his brother Travis Cates. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Hutchinson; and his siblings, Nancy Henson, Rickey Cates, Billy Cates, Bobby Cates, Justin Cates, Steven Meyers and Shannon Meyers. He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandchild.
