She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Eugene Smith; her parents, Rev. Mack Wade, Sr. and Rissie Belle Wade; and her siblings, Mack Wade, Jr., Bill Wade, Walter Wade, Newton Wade, Onette Myers, Maggie "Noot" Sanders and Faye Dunn.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Smith, Amy Gant (Chad), Ralph Smith (Sherrie) and Jeff Smith (Jill); her stepson Donnie Knight (Diane); and her siblings, Rebecca Thomason, Joye Chappell (Jay), Dolly Landers, Paulette Rigsby (BJ), Trimble Wade (Sharon) and Gary Wade (Jeanie). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
