He is survived by: his wife Sharon Batchelor Key; his daughter Anna Grace Key (Christian Posey); his brother Larry N. Key (Willneysa Gardner); his siblings-in-law, Karen Shumate (Heath), Robert "Bob" Batchelor and Michael Batchelor (Beth); his father-in-law William R. "Bill" Batchelor (Kaye); his nephews, Cory Key (Micaela), Case Key (Mary Beth), Logan Shumate (Amie) and Landon Shumate; his niece Sarah South (Nick); and his pets, Charli, Millie and Frankie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Funeral Home (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Collins-Burke Chapel (303 Oak Hill Rd, Jasper, AL 35504).
