He is survived by: his wife Donna Brust Helms; his sons, Michael Wyman Helms (Samantha) and Ronald Evan Helms; his sisters, Doris Griffin and Connie Geter; and his grandchildren, Tucker Evan Helms, Gabriel Wyman Helms and Alice Ann Helms.
