He was predeceased by: his father William Luther Bowman, Sr.; his siblings, Opal Cox, Ruth Grimes, Bobbie Smith, Mary Rose Carter, Jack Bowman and Gary Young; and his brother-in-law Frank Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Cox Bowman of Ozark; his children, Nina Segars of Ozark, Morgan Guice (Debora) of Ozark and Steve Guice (Jan) of Clayhatchee; his grandchildren, Samantha Taylor of Ozark, Amanda Guice of Clayhatchee, Alex Guice of Ozark and Ethan Guice of Atlanta; his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Taylor of Ozark and Caleb Taylor of Ozark; his siblings, Kathy Newsome, Roxie Davis and Duke Williams (Pauline); and his sister-in-law Pollie Jones (Bobby). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made in William's honor to Camp Ground Baptist Church, 3898 Andrews Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
