It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vaudine Perkins Rylee of Ozark, Alabama, born in Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on November 4, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shade Perkins and Effie Mae Pendley Perkins; her son Robert Lewis Rylee; her sisters, Margene Golden and Ursula Smith; and her nephew Allen Golden.
She is survived by: her nieces, Shannon Williams (Roy) of Ozark and Sonja Smith (Roger) of Hoover, Alabama; her sister Shirley McDonald of St. Petersburg, Florida; and her nephew Jason Grace (Leslie) of St. Petersburg, Florida. She is also survived by five great nephews and three great nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Holman Funeral Home Chapel (995 S Union Ave, Ozark, AL 36360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235).
