He is survived by: his wife Sally Shingles; his children, Natavia L. Shingles, Kenyatta Shingles and Ulysses Shingles III; and his sisters, Catherine Shingles, Flossie Shingles, Cassandra Sims and Linda Shingles. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
