She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Heinrich Arnold and Berta Friederike Volk Arnold; and her son James Earl McIntosh. She is survived by: her daughters, Trudy Shirah (Keith) of Monroe and Patty Hickman (Greg) of Auburn, Alabama; her grandsons, Sean Shirah (Hannah), Chris Shirah (Jessica) and Matt McIntosh (Mihaela); and her great grandchildren, Emma Shirah, Jackson Shirah, Noah Shirah, Nate Shirah, Blakelee Shirah, Olivia Shirah, Stella Shirah, Anderson Shirah and Jamie McIntosh.
