He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Vince Tyler and Lois Louise Hamilton Tyler; his children, Amy Susanna Tyler and Donald Paul Haler; and his grandsons, Matthew Tyler and Braiden Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Monk Tyler of Ozark; his sons, Billy Edwin Tyler of Mobile, Troy Joseph Tyler (Ashley) of Enterprise, Aaron Vincent Tyler (Delilah) of Chancellor, Peter Hagler of Birmingham and Philip Hagler of Dothan; and his siblings, Gloria Ann Day (John) of Florala, Ellen Dean (David) of Friendship, Victor Tyler (Marilyn) of Toccoa, Tony Tyler of Tacoma and Tommy Tyler of Elba.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 2536 County Road 33, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
