She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel G. Stokes and Bardee Walker Stokes; and her husband Joe Merrill Davis. She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Davis Garrett Helms of Banks, Barbara Davis Lewis of Dothan and Carol Davis Nicholson (Michael) of Brundidge; her sister Peggy Stokes Bullard of Foley, Alabama; and her grandchildren, Stacie Black (Jason), Micah Garrett (Amy), Justin Garrett (Kimberly), Whitney Deese (Brian), Zachory McDaniel (Cristy), Davis McDaniel (April) and Brady McDaniel.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Baptist Church (3336 Co Rd 23, Ariton, AL 36311).
