She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Ewell and Ruby Harden Chalker; her husband Oscar Howard Phillips (Jack); her brothers, J. W. and John Amos Chalker; and her great grandchild Alaina Pearl Hardwick.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Laney (James H.), Neal Phillips (Sandi), Kenneth Phillips (Amy) and Jackie Phillips (Cora); her stepgrandchildren, Mark Phillips (Anne Katherine) of Dothan, AL., Lindsey Salter (Steven) of Dothan, AL., Andy Phillips (Stacey), Kristi Bell (Jeremy), Holly Hardwick (Richard) and Jeremy Woodham; and her great grandchildren, Powell of Dothan, AL., Ellary Phillips of Dothan, AL., Elle of Dothan, AL., Grady of Dothan, AL., Reese Salter of Dothan, AL., Katelyn, MaKayla, Cody Phillips, Haystin, Kenleigh Woods, Brody Bell and Isabella Alaina Hardwick.
