He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Winford Cheatwood, Sr. and Edna Hazel Prince Cheatwood; his children, Gary Lynn Cheatwood and Enieda Elizabeth "Ellie" Cheatwood; his daughter-in-law Sherie Michelle Cheatwood; and his siblings, Brenda Joyce Bradford, Evelyn Jean "Jeannie" McCallister, Robert "Bob" Stone and Dana Gene Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Dorene Holbrook Cheatwood; his children, Elissa Paige Cheatwood, Kevin Lee Cheatwood and John Scott Cheatwood; his grandchildren, Morgan Shay, Damian Brock, Lillie Annabelle, Zoee Jayne and Madelyn Grace; and his nieces and nephews, Kayla McGranahan, Kim Clevenger, Samantha McCallister, Christopher "Chris" Thornberry, Jonathan McCallister and Jason Greene.
