He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Lynn Curry-Kent and Albert Kent; and his brothers, Albert Kent Jr. and James Kent. He is survived by: his children, Danielle Kent, Robin Jarmon and Jacob C. Kent; his siblings, Dorothy Caldwell (Condra) of Charleston, MO, Beatrice Anderson of Ozark, AL, Alberta Armster-Reynolds of Enterprise, AL, Johnny Lynn (Martha) of St. Petersburg, FL, Robert Kent (Shirley) of Carbondale, IL and Nathaniel Kent of Blytheville, AR.; his fiancée Dorthy Mayes; the mothers of children, Elisa Jarmon and Camille Kent; his mother-in-law Lillie Jarmon; and his friend Jeremiah McLeod. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Newman Mortuary, Inc. (114 Harper Dr, Ozark, AL 36360). A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery (100 Circle Dr, Charleston, MO 63834).
