She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Daniel Nims, Sr. and Gracie Pearl Bradford Nims; and her husband Homer Adolfus East. She is survived by: her sons, Norman East of Anniston, Gordon East of Abbeville, Joseph East of Eufaula, Reuben East of Echo and Richard East of Maine.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 475 Camilla Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
