He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ernest Lester and Elizabeth Jane Cochran Lester; his daughter Patricia Marie Lester; and his siblings, Nancy Helen Sheriff, Martin Edward Lester and Fred Arnold Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Brewster Lester; his daughters, Carol Sue Phelps and Margaret Ann Homan; his grandchildren, James Robert Vines, Magen Elizabeth Vines, Cory Allen Homan and Shane Alexander Homan; and his siblings, Richard, Kenneth, Dean, Joe, David, Danny and Libby. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
