He was predeceased by: his father David Bury McLaughlin; and his son David Keith McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Alline Johnson McLaughlin; his daughter-in-law Sherri McLaughlin; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Daphne McLaughlin; his grandchildren, Kristi Smith (Josh), Amy Helton (Brad) and Clint McLaughlin; and his great grandchildren, Cooper Smith, Taylor Helton, Katelynn Smith and Harper Helton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 1971 Deese Road, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
