She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Theldon Helms; her husband Gary Linn Claassen; her son Gary Steve Claassen; and her sister Faye Kelley. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Chris Anthony Claassen (Dawn) of Enterprise and Dr. David Allan Claassen (Christy) of Dothan; her brother Randy Stevenson; her grandchildren, Garett Claassen, Cole Claassen, Kelly Claassen Hussey, Roland Claassen, Joshua Claassen, Jordan Claassen, Joshua Maddox and Andrew White; her great grandchild Evelyn Maddox; and her caregivers, Dawn Claassen, Shirley Reeves and Angelia Laster.
