She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Webster Herring and Mamie Lillian Teal Herring; her husbands, Frank Wilkerson and Max Strickland; her son Robert F. Wilkerson; and her siblings, Myrtis Smith, Jimmie Ruth Miller, Marion L. Herring, James Nelson Herring, Eugene Herring and Lewie Frank Herring.

She is survived by: her nephew Robert Miller (Vivian).
