She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Shipman, Sr. and Armary Flournoy Shipman; and her brothers, Dr. Jerry Shipman, Cleveland Shipman, Jr. and Rickey Pernell Shipman.
She is survived by: her husband Wilbur; her daughter Emily; and her sisters, Sherri Thomas (Leo) and Oretha Dukes (Jerry). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
