With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Spurlock (Ozark, Alabama), born in Wausau, Florida, who passed away on March 6, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Barfield and Pauline Taylor Barfield; and her siblings, Ernestine Barfield Pipkin, Juanita Barfield Hill, John Hubert Barfield and Thomas Aubrey Barfield.
She is survived by: her daughter Dilly; her son-in-law Bennett Ward of Wicksburg; her son Scott; her daughter-in-law Tonya Spurlock of Mabson; her grandchildren, Ben Ward (Olivia) of Atlanta, Jessica Pritchett (Josh) of Wicksburg, Mason Spurlock of Mobile and Maddie Spurlock of Mabson; her great grandchildren, Lilah Grace Pritchett, Lainey Brooke Pritchett, Pate Pritchett, Harper Ellis Ward and Felix McKay Ward; her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Barfield of Naples and Janette Barfield of Niceville, Florida; her siblings, Vivian Barfield Vickery of Immokalee, Victoria Barfield Aplin of Samson, Jewell Barfield Rowland (Lamar) of Samson, Pauline Barfield Pruitt of Ponce and Oid L. Barfield of Myakka City, Florida; her son Stanley Smith; and her nephew Harvey Monk.
