She is survived by: her siblings, Johnny Odell Gissendanner, James Thomas Gissendanner and Helen Gissendanner-Stevenson; her grandchildren, Kimberly Sheneek Dawkins and Antwon DeMeatric Johnson; and her aunt Mrs Lena Pearl Newman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
