He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Z. Willis and Ethel Carraway Willis; his former wife Norma Wiggins Willis; his daughter Sherry Tharpe; his son-in-law Shannon Wambles; his stepson Greg Stinson; and his siblings, Sam Willis, Harley J. Willis and Leon Gerald "Bud" Willis.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Harris Willis of Brown's Crossroads Community; his children, Nancy Rene Brock (Lee), Gary Willis and Wes Stinson (Theresa); his sister Anita Gunter of Brown's Crossroads Community; his grandchildren, Stacy Tharpe (Laura), Jessica Harden (Cole), Dane Willis (Taylor), Will Brock (Rexanna), Madison Brock, Makenzie Willis, Cole Stinson, Malloy Stinson, Tory Richter (Dusty), Caleb Stinson and Ethan Stinson; and his great grandchildren, Max Tharpe, Baylor Harden, Rowen Richter, Rhett Richter (Stinson) and Nikki Stinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
