It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Newman of Ozark, Alabama, who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dick and Lola Mae Dick; her daughter Jannie B. Newman; and her siblings, Lee Mae Gissdinner, Eva Greene, Alma Walker, Robert Dick, Tellie C. Dick, Samuel Mosses Dick and Willie C. Dick.
She is survived by: her children, Priscilla Collins, Donald R. Newman (Cordilia) and Rayburn Newman; her aunt Edna Ruth Northcutt; and her grandchildren, Carl Vernon (Misti), Vanavia Fleischman (Willie), Donald Demon Newman, Marquita Newman and Kassandra Stallworth (Antonio). She is also survived by great-grand children, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
