She is survived by: her children, Cheri Shaw (Gary), Blake Moates (Rachel), Brantley and James B. Mizell; her sister Donna Helms (Larry); and her grandchildren, Lily Shaw, Katie Moates and Aaden Moates.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Fuqua Bankston Funeral Home (508 Faust Ave, Ozark, AL 36360). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sykes Creek Baptist Church (1921 AL-10, Clio, AL 36017).
