He was predeceased by: his parents, George Davis of Washington and Lois Jarrett Davis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Justice "Pat" Davis; his children, Cindy Davis, Sherry Davis, Katriona Davis, Elizabeth Davis, Bobby Davis, Kevin Davis and James Davis; his stepsons, Jason and Kirstin Nelson; his daughter-in-law Russell Nelson Justice; his grandchildren, Christopher Nelson, Katelynn Nelson, Connor Nelson, Carter Nelson, Alice Justice, Andrew Davis and Tyler Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce, Anthony LeHecka, Susan Bridges, Michelle and Jack Mellott.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1124 County Road 11, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
