He was predeceased by: his parents, Relus Hagler and Marie Dean Hagler; his sister Martha; and his brother-in-law Buddy Garnto. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gilley Hagler of Ozark; his daughter Lori; his son-in-law Mike Finlen of Mobile; his grandchildren, Emily Finlen of Birmingham, Claire Finlen Burden (Matt Burden) of Birmingham and James Michael "Trey" Finlen III of Atlanta; his great grandchild Elise Burden; his pet Aidan; his siblings, Mary Blankenship of Phenix City and Jimmy Hagler of Atlanta; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Wallace and Joyce Gilley.
