He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Crow Jernegan. He is survived by: his sons, James Harrison Jernegan and Wyatt Thomas Jernegan; his father James Toby Jernegan; his brothers, Jason Jernegan (Yanci) and Justin Jernegan (Shea); and his close friends, Ronald and Judy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Mission Ministry, 1971 Deese Road, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
